Helen was a homemaker until the children were teens and then worked in school nursing for 14 years. They have three children, including KYM RASH-NEWELL '80, and six grandchildren. Two years ago, they moved to Elk Grove, just south of Sacramento. HELEN HOOVER RASH and her husband, BUD RASH '49, lived in Sacramento, California, in the same house for 41 years. They have also participated in volunteer mission assignments. Residents of Ridgecrest, California, they are active in their church and enjoy traveling and visiting their three children and 12 grandchildren. HARRY OLDENBURGER is retired from the pastorate and livesĭirector at Naval Weapons Center, China Lake.

In August, they celebrated again with their five children, their spouses and six grandchildren at the Casey Conference Center (Camp Casey) on Whidbey Island. They celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on the beaches of southern Portugal in April. JACQUELYN EDWARDS NOLTE and her husband, LLOYD NOLTE '48, are retired and living in Seattle. The Munns make their home in Port Townsend, Washington. They have traveled to Brussels and Rwanda, where they hosted a guest house for World Relief and started two secondary schools for Friends Missions. Hector and his wife, VERNA RICE MUNN '53, have two sons, including JAMES MUNN '86. HECTOR MUNN was a professor in earth sciences and chemistry at George Fox College for many years, followed by 17 years as registrar. He lives in Stanwood, Washington, with his wife, Yvonne. Bob is now consulting for Christian camps, and he is the event coordinator for the 2003 Free Methodist General Conference to be held on the SPU campus June 28-July 4, 2003. He spent the last 25 years of his ministry as executive director of Warm Beach Camp and Conference Center. ROBERT "BOB" MCDOWELL retired in 1995 after a career as a Free Methodist minister. Bud is a former chair of the SPU Board of Trustees.Į. Retirement and are very busy with a new Œscripture imaging' ministry called BibleVista ( he says. Marti and Len live in Olympia, Washington. They have two married children, NICOLE ENSIGN TAYLOR '80 and RICHARDĮNSIGN '83, and four grandchildren. She and her husband, LEONARD ENSIGN '51, have been married for 50 years. MARTI OAKS ENSIGN still travels a great deal for speaking engagements, especially for Renovare and women's retreats. Retired from teaching in 1993 after more than 38 years with Seattle Public Schools. A resident of Watsonville, California, she now tutors students, volunteers in the classroom, and holds several leadership positions at Corralitos Free Methodist Church, including secretary of the board of administration. GENEVA CECIL is retired after 40 years in education, including 17 years as a teacher, 17 years as a principal and six years as an educational consultant. Jo continues to teach Sunday School, and Duke is active in Adult Bible Their three children and nine grandchildren live within a one-hour drive, and Duke and Jo enjoy their frequent visits. LEE "DUKE" ARGABRIGHT and NORMA JO TARRIN ARGA-BRIGHT are happily retired in Oceanside, California. This is the only class that will hold its reunion in the spring.
